Culture at Saab Australia

Everyone is very social. Having the majority of people in the head office helps significantly with making connections across departments and seniority levels. Teamwork is highly encouraged, especially in my small team.

Company activities are a regular thing, about once a month. Culture of taking breaks and not having to be stuck on a desk the entire day

Overall, there seems to be good company culture and is largely friendly and cooperative during work hours.

It is based on different teams that report to senior team leaders that report to the managers.

It's a very close and community-oriented culture here, which I hold as one of the key pillars of the company. I have made many friends in my team in this first year, and I look forward to the various social activities that occur throughout the year.

Culture in hours has promoted team cohesion and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of others and their development either professionally or personally. This has led to some new hobbies developed through the year. Managers are approachable and commonly involved in mentor programs with graduate engineers to allow them to voice any concerns or queries regarding areas of their expertise. Outside of ours, both within the business unit as the company as a whole promotes socializing through the social club that is ran internally which provides subsidized events or group events such as go karting.

I feel like my team wasn't open for the idea of WFH, it's understandable with the complex nature of their work.

Lots of opportunity for social interactions with colleagues outside of work hours and places to chat and meet colleagues during work hours. Again, lack of processes makes it difficult to get work done within teams/with other teams but otherwise okay.

Saab's company culture is very good. All of the staff are friendly and everyone is willing to talk or help out, regardless of how high up they are. Sometimes the CEO will just come sit with the graduates or other engineers during lunchtime. Saab has quite an active social club which organises events both in the office and after hours.

Culture is excellent, everyone is highly friendly and there are lots of opportunities for out of work team building activities.

Company's culture is good, with a good social club that organizes monthly bbqs, and events. Structure is well organized and is apparent from the start. Teamwork and socialization are good but depends on the team you're in.

Everyone is friendly and up for a chat. My fellow team members have been very useful and welcoming, and I am always able to ask for assistance. Only issue is that my Team Lead does not foster a positive work environment and is not accommodating or flexible.
