Diversity commitment is strong. Saab spends significantly on encouraging young people of all backgrounds into STEM careers.

Company is accepting and diverse. There does seem to be retention issues between the 3rd and 5th years at the company

Seems from the perspective of a middle aged white man, that they are trying to implement an open policy of getting the best people regardless of gender, background, or preferences. I don't and won't need childcare or maternity leave so I have inquired. They are working hard to change their current retention rate, so that has to be a good thing, as for promotion still down the road for me so I'm not worried at this stage.

It is generally a pretty welcoming environment and diversity, although an issue, seems to be improving. There are some people within the company that make it harder for people in minority groups, however generally the company is trying to improve.
