Office & Workplace at Saab Australia

7.6
7.6 rating for Workplace, based on 23 reviews
Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
I work at a small satellite office from the main one - both are appropriate and well-maintained. Good kitchen facilities, free coffee, and (at the main office) a subsidised cafe. Dress code ranges significantly depending on role and seniority.

Location and facilities are quite good, there have been some issues with limited office space. Dress codes seem just to be common sense. There isn't a need for formal outfits unless meeting with stakeholders

Running out of desks but expanding buildings next year.

Company's office space is spacious and most people have their own desks. Kitchen facilities are simple but sufficient. Location is slightly away from the main CBD which adds to commute times. Dress code tends to be smart casual and largely relaxed.

The facilities are nice

Currently, the offices are good, but could be better. More modern, more collaborative spaces, meeting rooms, etc. However, much of this will alleviated next year when our building's expansion is complete. There is no dress code at Saab at all, which I appreciate as I can come to work in whatever I feel like.

Office space and location are good. Open desk arrangement allows talking between desks which promote socializing as well. Dress code is professional but does not require full suits or business casual unless having specific meetings which require it.

Office spaces are square format for teams, it's a good configuration for team work. Not all desks support sit-stand which would be preferable. Attire is open, semi casual, or uniform and allows a lot of flexibility.

Casual dress code unless directly meeting customers. Only seen SA offices and they are decent, though a bit crowded.

Saab's main office in Adelaide is quite nice with a central courtyard providing natural light throughout the facility. A new building is currently being constructed as a significant extension to the main office. The Melbourne office and Brisbane office are also quite nice. There is no specific dress code for Saab, most people will either wear a buttoned shirt or a polo shirt, however people will wear anything from a t-shirt and hoodie or a suit and tie. People are free to tailor their outfit to their day.

Facilities are fantastic, however location is a bit far out from CBD. Dress code is flexible

Good facilities, has all the necessities. Dress code ranges from formal to unformal, with no strict dress codes.

No problem with current office space, however as the team grows and space keeps growing, it may become a little crowded. Professional dress code, I wear mostly polo shirts in the office, and if i eventually meet clients it will be dress pants & a shirt. All of which is my choice and it has never had any issues raised.

The spaces allow for friendly conversation; however, my Team Lead believes you are not working hard enough if you are utilising these spaces. The dress code is very flexible.

In Victoria, the office is spacious and possesses enough desks for the usual number of Victorian Saab Australia workforce. The location is further from my current residence as I would like, but that can change in the future. Saab Australia does not enforce a very formal dress code.
