8.5 rating for Management, based on 21 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
So far my mangers have been great. They have been so supportive.
Graduate, Brisbane
My managers have been supportive of me as an intern and graduate in terms of providing guidance and advice.
Graduate, Sydney
My graduate rotation specifically was a bit rough as there were a lot of changes in management by coincidence. However, each manager I had provided work that was meaningful and did make sure to address my needs and empower me in my role. There was just a little less stability due to all the changes.

Very strong recognition culture.

The VP for my business unit is very approachable, Manager is approachable as well and easy to talk with however he has lots of responsibilities so is often busy.
Graduate, Melbourne
Managers very supportive and open. Happy to communicate on progress areas and responsive to my requests. very responsive.
Graduate, Benalla
Performance review process was disappointing as there was no similar structure for all graduates, but overall the feedback is great, constant communication with both my managers, easy to be reached and extremely responsive, such a great mentor and learn something everyday, makes processes so much easier (great at explaining).
Graduate, Sydney
My manager is amazing. She communicates with me regularly and is a great mentor.
Graduate, Melbourne
Direct managers in my experience has been great, they're supportive, dont have expectations above your own and set realistic development and performance goals. Graduate management can be developed, greater support and structure around the graduate program can be implemented.
Graduate, Sydney
Managers are quite open to communication and depending on the person, a calendar booking/spontaneous walk-n-talk is preferred. My efforts have always been recognised and appreciated. Feedback sessions are both analytical and constructive.
Graduate, Adelaide
Managers are accessible and good mentors. However, manager standards are very different - they are not briefed properly when it comes to our evaluations. Some view us as graduate and some do not, this leads to unfair evaluations and consequently unfair compensations.
Graduate, Macquarie Park
Managers were accessible and good mentors. However, I felt my manager was always really busy and overworking so sometimes I would hesitate to reach out. Overtime, I learnt not to hesitate and ask for help/guidance if needed.
Graduate, Sydney
I worked with my manger everyday. Easy to ask for help and feedback. Only a teams message away. They'll also take the time to teach you as well, which was a surprise. One time I only asked one question and it turned into a 2 hour lecture.
