What do you do in your role?
Develop business and customer networks for business centres. Establish, maintain customer Overdraft, Term loan and Equipment Finance products in particular. The main responsibility in my role is a customer facing with a sales focus centric, this provides a balance to sitting behind a desk and having your boots on the ground.
What is a typical day for you at Suncorp?
It is not uncommon to visit customers on their property. Whether it be a large cotton farm in Moree, or a commercial operation on the South Coast depending on location. Each of these pose their own funding challenges. This is the exciting part of the job, engineering a financial solution appeasing the clients and the bank itself.
What has been your biggest challenge so far?
Understanding the banking “Lingo” there are numerous acronyms, procedures and related jobs to master. The good news is there is always something new to learn.
