Summer Vacation Program
Our paid, 12-week Program, which starts in November this year, has been specifically designed to give you hands-on work experience as well as immersive development and learning opportunities.
It also feeds into our Telstra Graduate Program, which means if you’re one of our top performers you’ll be considered for early offers.
What you’ll be doing as an Information and Cyber Security summer intern
With one of the largest cybersecurity teams in Australia, you’ll be able to learn from the best people in their field as our teams work to design, implement and manage our industry-leading networks and, when required, respond to security incidents for our customers.
The work our teams do is complex and challenging, but you’ll be able to see why we’re at the forefront of technological change and cybersecurity detection methods.
What skills and experiences do you need?
We’re looking for students who are studying a degree like Computer Science, Information Security, Information Security Management, Information Business Systems, Cyber Security or Security Engineering
You’ll also need to be a great communicator, a team contributor and someone who likes to solve complex problems.
Program eligibility
Our Summer Vacation Program is open to university students who are in the penultimate year of their studies of a minimum three-year undergraduate degree from an Australian university or those undertaking their master’s degree. So, you will need to be graduating in 2021 in order to be eligible.
International Students who have a valid visa that enables them to work in Australia without any work restrictions are eligible to apply for this pathway.
