I work in External Relations within a faculty. My role involves working on the University brand and promotional activities. I write copy for digital and physical marketing materials, as well as work in event management.

I like that my supervisor keeps me busy and is willing to take the time to teach me, however, the work itself is quite uninspiring and not hugely challenging, which leads me to question its developmental benefits.
Event management, administration and marketing for student enrichment activities
In my role I manage an orientation program for inbound exchange students. This includes all aspects from advertising to volunteer recruitment, risk analysis, budget management and program delivery.
My day-to-day responsibilities range from routine/operational to more coaching and strategic involvement. I really enjoy the latter.
