About the role

Thiess has an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer to join their formal Graduate Program, commencing in February 2022.

As a graduate you will receive structured on-the-job training, guided learning plans, soft skill development as well as access to mentoring programs. On our two-year program, you will receive up to two 12-month rotations in various roles and projects across central Queensland and the Hunter Valley in New South Wales.

The opportunity to rotate across our projects will provide you with a strong foundation to build your career.

About you

This role will suit someone who is:

  • Completing a tertiary qualification in either a Mining or Civil Engineering discipline and will complete their studies at the end of 2021 or up to mid-year 2022
  • Eager to learn new skills, flexible and adaptive
  • Keen to pursue a career in the resources industry and ready to make a positive impact
  • Is willing to relocate to various sites and projects, as required by program rotations
