How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
The managers are very friendly however most of them are short of time and cannot guide through everything. They are always there for help but are rushed. Some managers are better than others in recognition and performance feedback.

As a graduate I will have more than 1 manager throughout the program. Each manager is different. Not all are great at feedback or internal communication whilst others are great at it and cascade decisions from the top. In general I am satisfied with my managers, though as an organisation there is definitely some improvement needed.

The managers at TransGrid are very approachable and accessible too. They always go out of their way to explain systems to new graduates. They are always there for mentoring and will provide feedback for improvements.

Our managers are very supportive. They will respond to our emails and answer our calls very quickly. They are encouraging and they give us our own projects to manage, showing how they trust us and our capabilities.
