The key to this role is to identify customers who have training requirements and then help them fulfil this need by selling training credits, seats in instructor-led training classes or subscriptions to online training services.
Using consultative sales skills you will uncover the customer's training needs and through your knowledge of VMware Education's services you will assist the customer to create a training plan to meet these needs. You will help customers to work through the various stages of the learning journey including: Landing the initial engagement, Adopting VMware's Education Services, Expanding their journey across our portfolio and Renewing their engagements to ultimately achieve set targets.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build pipeline by contacting customers and partners who have indicated an interest in training
- Creating and presenting training plans and quotations
- Closing purchase orders and contracts
- Onboarding of Enterprise Learning Subscription (ELS) customers
- Adoption plans for ELS customers
- Work closely with the Education Sales Consultants and Partner Business Manager to drive the execution of their business plans and achieve targets
