Where can water take you?

Advancing your career will advance our community too.

Water is essential for our future. In each and every Water Corporation role, you’ll have the chance to develop a career, and help the community. With a diverse mix of roles, locations and opportunities across Western Australia, we seek people who want to make a change for the better.

This position is advertised under Section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984. We are seeking to increase the diversity of our workforce to better meet the differing needs of our customers and to improve equal opportunity outcomes for our employees. Aboriginal Australians are encouraged to apply.

We know the importance of enriching WA’s water industry with a culturally diverse team. We have much to learn about the land, waterways and communities we serve, to protect our most precious resource. This means we want to offer you a genuine seat at the table so we can work together to secure our water future.

Commencing late January 2024, our Graduate Program is designed to give you real-world experience in line with your University studies. You’ll be given full support from experienced Water Corporation professionals, our current Graduates and your peers in other disciplines. Step out of Uni and make a difference for WA’s current and future generations.

Why choose Water Corporation for your Grad placement?

Recognised by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) as one of Australia’s top Graduate Programs, our goal is to connect you with the right people, passion and purpose. That’s why many of our graduates stay on to have richly diverse and fulfilling careers with us.

Metro roles will be based in Perth for your first rotation of the program, in the following year, most Grads remain in the metro area on another rotation but we have a few regional opportunities which you can volunteer to work in, we set you up in the area, provide accommodation and everything you need to live and work in the regions for a year.

In addition, we have a new Fast-track to Management Program on offer. The lucky grads who are accepted into this program will undergo leadership training for two years in the metro area before we relocate you to a permanent leadership role in one of key regional locations.
