Meet Vaish, Group Technology Graduate
Vaish studied Commerce at Macquarie University and is proud to be part of the Group Technology Graduate Program
What rotations have you experienced as part of the program?
Being part of the Group Tech grad program means that you can experience four rotations over two years. My experience with rotations has been widely varied, allowing me to experience both technical and analytical roles. I started out as an IT Business Analyst in Specialist Finance Technology where I worked on change projects across the Business Integration team. Then, I moved into Payments and Cards Technology as an Associate Project Manager where I worked on the New Payments Platform in Application Development, one of the five biggest programs running in the bank. I jumped on board before the first official state launch in Australia and co-ordinated various phases of the program including designing workshops, test planning activities, implementation planning and going live to the public. It was a highlight of my graduate program.
What has been a highlight of the graduate program?
For me, meeting other Graduates who are in the same position has been a huge highlight. You have different opportunities to network formally and socially throughout the year through training and other various events. As cliché as it may be, I feel we are part of a family here!
