I am assigned projects and tasks - although reassured that looking for work and billability is not our concern there is unspoken pressure to be billable at all times.

I work on multiple projects within Project Controls and Systems Engineering. Each day involves planning the tasks I need to complete, then getting on with in. Occasionally will have interruptions from calls or messages for new tasks.

I am responsible for technical modelling in IES, report writing, using excel calculators, interpreting the NCC section J and green star guidelines.

A range of diverse projects with different people and business areas. Working on projects for infrastructure etc. that is important and often essential.

There is a variety of work with lots of training opportunities and opportunities to work across different teams

Able to take on a lot of responsibility and am encouraged to step-up. Day-to-day I'm usually doing new work, working across different projects.

Mostly administration work. I am starting to get some small technical work

I have only been here for 3 months so I'm doing a mixture of small jobs until new projects start up that I can dedicate more of my time to. I enjoy that I am getting a range of experience this way, although I also get tasked with mundane things like minutes, drafting emails and admin work.
