Software Development Internship Opportunities

Join Honeywell as an intern and make a difference in the world. Our products are used worldwide and have an incredible impact on how we live in the world and how products are produced. Be it from your local shopping centre to an air force base, the work you do will have an impact.

As an Intern, you'll get the opportunity to immediately contribute. You'll be added to a software development scrum team working on delivering a product. This is a team of professionals you can learn from.

We're looking for a commitment of at least 3 months, and can consider longer internships.

Who we're looking for
You're an engineer at heart who is passionate about using software and technology to solve real-world problems. As an outstanding student, you like using your initiative and working with others to get results. You're building a good foundation in software development skills through your studies in software and engineering, with at least 2 years of study or part-time experience under your belt. We're not too fussy about knowledge of specific languages or technologies, it's more your ability to learn quickly and solve problems we're looking for.

Qualifications
Undertaking a relevant undergraduate degree and are in your penultimate year of study.

  • Engineering – Software/ Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical
  • Computer Science

The intern program will run from mid-November 2019 until early February 2020 (there is some flexibility with dates). Please note that Honeywell observes a shutdown period over Christmas and New Year for 2-3 weeks.
