Honeywell Building Solutions installs, integrates and maintains the systems that keep facilities safe, secure, comfortable, and productive and energy efficient.

The sales intern opportunity in Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is focused on working with the delivery teams to develop and price customer solutions across a range of different industries. Focusing on smaller opportunities, you will partner with operations managers, graduates, technicians and senior sales staff to ensure optimal solutions are proposed and delivered to our customers in an accurate and timely fashion.

Your duties will include:

  • Assist with the management of the customer base
  • Prepare reports and gather metrics in order to conduct ongoing customer reviews
  • Build and maintain successful customer relationships
  • Work with the management team to deliver an exceptionally high standard of service to our customers
  • Develop an understanding and be able to articulate the value of Honeywell products and services
  • Identify and refer sales opportunities to senior sales team members
  • Promote the use of additional Honeywell services and offerings
  • Working with solution specialists to develop high-level designs
  • Work on a full cycle of client projects including consulting, designing, estimating, presenting and delivering a proposal.


Qualifications
Undertaking a relevant undergraduate degree and are in your penultimate year of study.

  • Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, ICT or Mechatronics) combined with a commerce/business degree.

The intern program will run from mid-November 2019 until early February 2020 (there is some flexibility with dates). Please note that Honeywell observes a shutdown period over Christmas and New Year for 2-3 weeks.
