The position will allow the right candidate to launch their communications career while gaining broad insights into the workings of some of Australia's leading financial organisations. You will work with seasoned professionals to drive the communications strategy, incorporating media and social media, policy advocacy and public awareness programs, corporate and spokespeople profiling, product launches and other client events.
This is a fast-paced and varied role where you will support a busy account team across a range of blue chip clients including listed companies, banks, brokers, insurers, fund managers, real estate businesses, professional services firms and superannuation funds.
Your duties will include writing of media releases and other communications material, liaising with journalists and clients, media monitoring and analysis and managing our media database. You will also get to be creative – pitching for new business and developing multi-media campaigns.
