The Graduate Consultant - Technical accounts role has a number of different purposes including:
- Day to day application support for clients' trading order flows.
- FIX connectivity on-boarding and support.
- Support client projects and initiatives primarily involving complex order routing, connectivity and trading solutions.
- Support other senior members of the team with a view to undertaking more direct client contact as experience grows.
- Provide expert support to diagnose issues and recommend changes to IRESS products that require development for IRESS clients.
- Communication and coordination between internal and external stakeholders will be key to this role ensuring to keep the resolution of client issues on track and in line with client expectations.
Accountabilities and deliverables for this role include:
- Application Support. Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex trading related system issues reported by clients.
- Provide analysis towards creating development items relating to client issues or new functionality required by clients.
- Producing documentation including, configuration documents and implementation plans.
- Working with Product Managers and Developers to define solutions that meet client requirements; communicating the solutions with clients; and, following up with any changes required during the development, testing and implementation phases.
- Managing multiple client issues of differing scale simultaneously.
- Building relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Keeping stakeholders abreast of issue status and related resolution details.
