Ideally suited to Business Graduate, in this role, you will gain experience in:

  • Producing online educational content for clinicians and patients
  • End-to-end event management for scientific conferences, educational seminars, high school education programs and internal staff development
  • Marketing our educational programs to a variety of audiences, including clinicians, nurses, patients, teachers and students

This position will offer you a dynamic work environment and broad business experience covering digital education, marketing and communications, event management and commercial sponsorships.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference, as this role will be essential in helping educate clinicians, patients and the community about the most deadly form of skin cancer, melanoma.

Skills, experience and knowledge:

Essential

  • An eagerness to learn a variety of skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong administrative skills, including a basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A willingness to be hands on and help out with all aspects of the Education Team's needs
  • Ability to travel interstate and work outside of usual business hours
  • Initiative to respond to a brief and work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Faculty, clinicians) and external stakeholders (e.g. clinicians, nurses, high schools, pharma, other corporate sponsors)
  • Highly organised with a perfectionist ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must have work authorization in Australia

Desirable

  • Interest in health or medicine
  • Event management experience 
  • Experience with Photoshop and InDesign
