Role description
You will be starting in a new role within our company, researching and learning about products, designing solutions, and delivering projects for our clients. This role will provide you with an opportunity to specialise in either software development or infrastructure solutions. You will be working in a DevOps framework to deliver solutions for our clients.
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Demonstrated programming skills as part of your degree and/or work experience in at least one of the following languages:
- Java, Javascript, C/C++, C#, Python, PowerShell
- Experience with web based technologies such as HTML/CSS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of and basic experience with relational and/or object relational databases
- Understanding of Agile software development practices
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to develop and learn new skills as required, as we understand how technology changes
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Able to meet and maintain deadlines
Desirable skills include the following
- Practical experience with Web development
- HTML5
- Javascript, AngularJS, AJAX, Ruby, Python NodeJS
- SCSS, CSS, frameworks such as Bootstrap
- Popular web stack frameworks
- SOAP and REST Web Services
- Authentication and authorisation protocols such as OAuth, Open ID Connect, SAML, SCIM
- Cloud Infrastructure - Azure, AWS
