Life at SIG

Ever wondered what life as a SIG grad or intern is like? Here is an inside look at what you can expect when you begin your journey with us!

Typically, your SIG journey begins with meeting a member of our team at one of our many recruiting events, such as career expos, poker events, or game nights.

Once you join SIG as a grad or intern, you will participate in our best-in-class training program. Here is a behind the scenes look at some of our education sessions.

To decision science classes (it’s true that we teach poker to grads and interns to hone their decision-making skills):

And lastly, most of your learning is done on the trade floor!

Playing strategy games is a big part of SIG’s culture and education program. Our office includes gaming spaces where you will find employees playing games before and after work.

Collaboration is at the core of approach. Our trade floor is designed to promote open communication and teamwork.

When the markets are closed, the trade floor is also a great spot for games.

Part of what makes SIG so successful is that we are world leaders in low latency trading technology, which makes our systems super-fast. To give you an idea of how much tech is used in our day to day, there is over 35kms of cabling under the floor boards in our Sydney office.

To promote employee health and wellness, SIG has an on-site gym that is free for employees to use. You’ll never get tired of the gym’s beautiful view of Sydney Harbour!
