Internship Opportunity – Corporate Partnerships
We're looking for an intern to join the Head of Corporate Partnerships in a support role assisting with corporate partnerships that Stone & Chalk holds with over 20 large corporates within the Australian financial sector. Having an understanding of the FinTech ecosystem will make it easier for you, however, this is the best place to learn about it, and we plenty of reading material for prep detailed below plus real-life experience in our office at Wynyard.
We are looking for an intern that is self-led, proactive, have good ideas they want to see put into action, bags of energy and can easily work with any/our team, to get the most from this learning opportunity. What we will get you involved in……
- Shadowing the Head of Corporate Partnerships at strategic meetings with Corporate Partners to learn about the partnerships and how mutual benefit is achieved
- Understanding and editing strategic documentation that tracks the each Corporate Partners journey and involvement with Stone & Chalk and the key start-ups within the community that relate specifically to their business activities (Powerpoint and Excel)
- Learn and understanding how we use our CRM to track Corporate Partners and information, and the maintenance of that data
- Support with the execution and tracking of follow up activities from key stakeholder meetings
- As you become more knowledgeable about the ecosystem begin to support with connecting the right Corporates and Start-ups to support both parties gain business benefit from those introductions
- Support and learn with corporate events and activities such as workshops, seminars, round tables, hackathons, demo days, etc.
- Learn and support the use of Scrum boards using online programs such as "Asana" or similar to track activity with each Corporate Partner
What Will Help You Succeed?
- Open to learning and taking direction and initiative to make the most of this Internship opportunity
- Confident in presenting – you will be communicating with over 20+ Corproate Partners and over 90+ startup companies based at Stone & Chalk
- Knowledge of using MS Office such as Powerpoint and Excel to communicate and track discussions, activities between several parties
- A grasp of project management tools such as Asana to help manage and track meeting actions
- Skilled in quickly identifying small quick wins / opportunities to improve / customer experiences and making it a reality quickly i.e. turning your good ideas into actions
- You must be available minimum 2- 3 days a week for immediate start
- You will need to BYO your own laptop and Mobile phone
