    We are currently offering two (2) mining engineering, two (2) surveying and two (2) women in engineering scholarships on the 2021 program.

    As part of the scholarship program, you will be provided a placement on our vacation program and exposure to a range of mining projects. Successful completion of the program also provides you with the opportunity to be considered for a permanent role with Thiess as part of our graduate program.

    About you

    Are you:

    • A current full-time, undergraduate student in your second year (or later) studying a degree course in mining engineering at a recognised university in Australia?
    • Able to maintain a GPA of 4.5 or higher?
    • Available to complete a 12-week vacation work placement with Thiess (prior to graduation)?
    • Committed to joining Thiess as part of our graduate program?
    • Eligible to work in Australia?
    • Able to demonstrate commitment to Thiess' shared group principles of Integrity, Accountability, Innovation and Delivery?
    • Free from a bond or commitment to any other employer?
