The role

The network planning team is critical to our success at Transdev. Essentially the team are responsible for interpreting comprehensive data to ensure that some of Australia's major public transport systems run effectively. In this role you will become a master of our specialised software. Over time you will learn to gather and interpret requirements which will eventually lead to you solving complex rostering, scheduling and route issues. The public transport industry is fast paced and no doubt can be demanding. On the flip side you have a direct impact on the community and their journeys every day which we find seriously rewarding. What you bring

  • An analytical mind, we need someone to analyse data sets and consider the big picture
  • Attention to detail is a must, fancy finding a needle in a haystack?
  • Ideally you will hold a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science or IT, however applicants with other backgrounds are welcome, we're just looking for the right fit
  • The ability to communicate effectively and explain data patterns to a range of individuals
  • You must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen to apply
  • Finally we are all about a positive attitude and resilience, if something doesn't go your way we want you to try again!
