VMware HR Graduate:

VMware is investing in the development of the next generation of HR professional. The first 12 months will be an extensive immersion into all aspects of HR ranging from:

  • Understanding our core benefits, systems, processes and policies that underpin our culture
  • Gaining exposure to HR operations and how we service our employee HR needs
  • Understanding what makes a great Manager and how we build these capabilities
  • Gaining experience in our talent acquisition department to understand how we attract talent & build a world class employment brand
  • Exposure to how our core sales business works to gain an understanding of the key talent challenges associated
  • Gain exposure to our diversity and inclusion programs and drive a specific program to help us to accelerate our endeavours

By end of 12 months you will have worked in several of our key HR areas and understand how they all come together. You will take responsibility for a project end to end, conducting research, making recommendations, implementing solutions and measuring your success.

You will have an amazing local HR team to help you learn along the way but you will also gain exposure to HR teams outside of Australia to gain international perspective.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Strong research, data and analytical skills
  • Experience public speaking and/or the confidence to present to small groups
  • Passion around the topic of diversity and inclusion
  • Excellent social and communication skill (both written and verbal)
  • Be well organized with an attention to detail
  • Lots of energy and enthusiasm as well as a passion for all things technology

  • Ability to start in March 2019.
  • This role is based in Sydney, NSW.
