Global Markets is a key division of Institutional Banking & Markets and is responsible for the Trading & Sales activities in financial markets encompassing all Foreign Exchange, Commodities, Fixed Income and Interest Rate products. Our vision is to be the aspiration within Global Markets.

Wondering how your Arts/Humanities degree comes in use in our Global Market division? You bring exceptional skills in critical thinking and an analytical mindset that allows you think outside the box to add real value to our institutional and corporate clients. We're looking for Arts/Humanities students to join one of the many exciting areas within Global Markets in roles such as Market Sales, Markets Conduct/Regulation, Commodities, Operations, Trading and Quantitative analysis – just to name a few. This 10 week program starting in late November, gives you exposure across the diverse and dynamic Global Markets business. You'll receive training, networking opportunities, be supported by a buddy and have the chance to contribute meaningfully to our business.
We consider students from all degree disciplines and to be successful in this role, you are performance driven, proactive, ambitious, insightful, and comfortable with the change and risk that comes with a dynamic environment and have a demonstrable passion for Global Financial Markets.
Please note that this program will result in a direct hire role into Global Markets at the completion of your degree and will not form part of the Graduate Program. Should you be successful during the intern program, you may also be eligible for a part time opportunity for the duration of your final year of studies to keep you connected with the Global Markets team.
