SIX-WEEK PAID INTERNSHIP – AUSTRALIA'S NUMBER ONE PROGRAM

Join our dynamic and experienced finance team and learn how you can utilise your professional skills, by delivering practical solutions within the rewarding and unique insurance industry.

As a finance intern at GB, you will work alongside not only the corporate accounting team, but the wider cohort of finance professionals at GB. These professionals include various CAs and CPAs, who work across a variety of roles within the business. You will be exposed to business reviews with Executive Management, commercial management activities, and corporate accounting requirements.

Aside from the regular coaching and support from your manager and team, and ongoing interaction with the wider intern group, you will be assigned a mentor to ensure you get the best possible experience. And at the end of the six-week program, we also hope you've gained valuable insight into the insurance industry and a possible career with GB after graduation.

OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

This year, we're looking for one motivated student to join our international finance team, based in Brisbane. You will be part of a wider group of interns joining our business across our offices in 2019.

• six-weeks paid work experience over summer (January/February 2019)

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for motivated individuals completing a degree in Accounting who are keen to explore a possible career in the insurance industry. Are you career-focused, with an excellent work ethic, and willing to pitch in to get things done? Then we'd love to hear from you!

Candidates must also have a passion for helping others, as this is part of our DNA at Gallagher Bassett. We're here to support people through a difficult time, and empathy is important.

Other key criteria:

1. You are a domestic student, with Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
2. You are scheduled to complete your studies mid-2019 or end-2019.
