Our Brisbane Project Management team is currently seeking a final year engineering student, with an interest in project controls to join our 2021 Graduate program.  As a graduate in the project controls team, you would be exposed to large, industry-defining projects.  This team delivers project controls, cost management and scheduling services to a range of projects in the Transport, Environment, Water and Energy & Resources sectors. 

Graduates in the Project Controls group would be exposed to:

  • Assisting in the development of scope and Work Breakdown Structures.
  • Establishment, management and reporting through GHD project controls systems.
  • Prepare project reports including financial, resourcing and schedule analysis. 
  • Generating and maintaining schedules in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. 
  • Assisting in the development of project proposal estimates. 
  • Potential travel opportunities to work on interstate/international projects.

With the rapid expansion of the data science field, and the increased reliance on data in business, government and research, there is a very real demand for data professionals who are able to identify and mine relevant data.
Entry Requirements
  • A Bachelor degree (whilst not a prerequisite for entry, high numeracy skills equivalent to senior level mathematics that includes algebra and elementary differential calculus is assumed); OR
  • At least five years of relevant work experience in an IT or data science-related industry. Industry experience will need to include some background in computing, data analysis or programming. Application based on relevant industry experience must be supported by a detailed CV and proof of work experience.
