Your role

The Team:

• Deloitte's Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) team provides an integrated approach to technology implementations for tax departments.
• The team helps maximize the strategic value of tax solutions through enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and tax applications.

Work you’ll do:

• As an intern, you will work with diverse teams to assist clients in understanding their processes, technology, and resourcing models.
• You will also explore global co-sourcing and outsourcing capabilities and assess clients' current organizational capabilities.
• Using data, you'll create a transformation roadmap and establish new standards for effective tax processes, controls, and output.
• Your tasks may involve interviewing clients, documenting workshop results, researching tax issues, and translating tax requirements into technology solutions for clients.

About you

Required:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, taxation, information systems, technology, or a related field with a strong preference for accounting and STEM dual degree
• Demonstrated interest in and aptitude for technology
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage assignments in a team environment
• Ability to travel up to 65%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• The start date for this position will be in Summer 2024, Winter 2025

Preferred:

• Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.2)
