Salary at IP Australia
- Average rating for Salary, based on 28 reviews7.9 / 10
What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Steady yearly increases to salary based on performance is fair.
Coming from private, the pay in APS is lower but fair based on the hours worked.
Very rewarding, increases with completion of levels in training and based on yearly performance thereafter. We are current bargaining a new enterprise agreement (EA) which will include a pay increase.
Good starting salary, relatively little promotion opportunity.
I am satisfied with my pay at IPA. There are also opportunities for overtime and bonuses for very high achievers in Patents.
Extremely good for a graduate, with a reasonable amount of room to move up the pay scale.
Excellent for a graduate c.f. engineering salaries, but significantly less long term than an engineering salary. There are incentives other than pay.
The salary is fairly good here. Most people have high level educations and and get paid accordingly. If you want more money, you can generally do overtime.
The pay is very good and there are bonuses available if you consistently score above your minimum production requirement.
Generous for the public service.
Small pay increases as you progress through the training. I am very happy with my pay.
Because of the nature of our work, my position is well paid.
What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
All relocation expenses are paid for.
Moving expenses, WHS allowance, sit-stand desks, working from home, screen-based work glasses subsidy, flex, APS super rate of 15.4%, 20 days of sick leave per year.
Reimbursements are provided for various health and well-being purchases.
FLEX time (you can work an extra hour each day and save up for a day off). Moving expenses are covered.
A good perk about working at IP Australia is being a part of the public service which enables you to get a high superannuation package and good leave arrangements.
Flexible working arrangements (including working from home).
We get a $250 allowance to spend on health and wellbeing. This includes anything from skydiving to camping gear.
Best perk is ability to do "Home Based Work" if you have a reasonable need for it.
Rewarding schemes such as free movie tickets, lunch outs etc.
Possibility for home based and out posted work.
The Melbourne office is very small compared to the Canberra office, which gives the Melbourne office a very nice close knit atmosphere.
