Job description :

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Ft. Worth, TX is seeking a full-time Summer 2024 Intern Project Engineer. In this role, you will be integrated into the GMLRS Program Management team to collaborate with all disciplines of engineering, global supply chain, quality assurance, and production operations to ensure successful program operations for GMLRS Production activities.

About you

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in an engineering or scientific discipline.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Desired skills:

  • Has completed Sophomore level studies within their major and is registered as a Junior or Senior.
  • Decisive, results-driven, and comfortable assessing and working with managed risk.
  • Strong background in performing data research and data analytical tasks.
  • Ability to present data to senior leadership in a cohesive, concise, and articulate manner.
  • Ability to work across organizational and geographic boundaries and engage multiple teams as one with common goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members, customers, and senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with solid presentation skills and capable of briefing audiences large or small with varying technical knowledge.
