Your role

This position will perform a variety of duties in the quality engineering function. Interfacing with manufacturing, inspection, and other cross-functional groups as well as program customers. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

About you

This position requires the candidate to function well in a technical-oriented environment and possess a good working knowledge of how to interact with technical and managerial staff.

Basic qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's Degree program in mechanical or industrial engineering.
  • The candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Desired skills:

  • Knowledge or exposure to Lean 6 Sigma principles.
  • Knowledge or exposure to the use of Data Analytics to solve problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
