Well defined onboarding and training plan

We receive training from specialists within the company, they are also very accessible and are willing to help out as well. This is in addition to the incentivized certification program which allows us to gain industry-recognized skills and certificates.

There are training sessions that help us learn how to do things. There is also constant on the job training. Certifications are also required as part of the program progression.

Excellent training is provided both formal and informal

There is both on the job and classroom training provided by the company. There is a lot of support by senior engineers who act as your mentors

There is plenty of training and development programs at the company to learn from over the years during employment. Whether it be through informal or formal means of training, you will constantly be learning new things during the day.

There's a lot of events/induction days when you start out which introduce you to all aspects of the company. Training to start with is through learning modules but these are mostly to do with the company. Technical training is on the fly and you learn as you go or experience more issues. Technical training is mainly done through peers.

Classroom sessions with our manager, team leader, and some more senior employees within the company with expertise about the technologies we will be working with. We've been briefed heavily on customer service and familiarised with Microsoft Azure, Fortinet, general networking concepts and security. We've also been slowly accustomed to the data halls and the work that is required of us in there.
