Mazars is great! Everyone is so friendly and supportive, right from the first day you will feel as though you have been part of the team for years!
Everyone is friendly and happy to help out at any time. Good work life balance, work is not overly demanding. Seniors and managers always available to help in any way possible.
I have really enjoyed the work environment here. I was concerned leaving my old job that the culture would be very work focused, and I'm glad to see that while everyone cares about their work, there's also a big focus on mental health and keeping a healthy work/life balance.

I am optimistic that I have good promotion possibilities within the company.
There is good level of teamwork and cooperation amongst the audit team, doesn't feel like there is a downward hierarchy structure as I have had the opportunity to work closely with all my seniors, managers and partners.
I know my company is very supportive with child care and maternity leave as I have seen a lot of staff adjust work hours and commitments to cater for these. I think the company is encouraging of diverse employment as my team in particular has a really broad range of ethnicities.
Liaising with the ATO, Everything that you could imagine an accountant would do. BAS', GST, Payroll Tax, Income Tax, Tax Returns, Fringe Benefit Tax. All depends on the time of the year.
I found the interview process smooth. I had phone calls with the HR manager and an in office interview with my manager and one of the partners who made me feel comfortable throughout the process
Mazars is very flexible when it comes to hours, as long as you meet the minimum of 37.5 for the week they are happy. They do prefer you are available for regular office hours but they have no issue with a once off appointment or change in hours.
