MPS is the most experienced security vetting agency in Australia. Over the past 10 years MPS has assessed over 60,000 security clearances for the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA). 

MPS actively engage with industry and governmental bodies to ensure that the best practices and latest assessment of national security priorities are implemented.

Recruitment Process

Our Recruitment Process

Graduates can apply to MPS Graduate Programs where you will complete program to help you learn about different parts of the Organisation. This will give you a strong understanding of the business of intelligence. 

You will need to address the selection criteria associated with the advertised position. Provide responses to specific questions to demonstrate your capability in a relevant way. 

Before applying online via Prosple, you need to create an account to preview and print the data requested throughout the Application Form, so you can gather any missing pieces of information. You need the following details on hand:

  • Personal information (contact, citizenship details, driver's licence details, recent photo, relationship/spouse details)
  • Education and employment (details on secondary or tertiary education, resume, ten years of employment history)
  • Extra-curricular (volunteer work, sporting achievements, awards at university, etc.) and foreign experience (overseas travel for holidays, study, working holidays, live/work for extended periods, deployments, and also fluency in a foreign language)

MPS emphasises that they need to properly examine the candidate’s travel and employment history, and this can take time. It is also essential that you not discuss your application with anyone, as this could impact your career with MPS. These have important reasons which will become clear when you progress through the recruitment process. If your application is shortlisted, you will be contacted within 2-10 weeks.
