More room to be yourself.

We've always taken pride in being a company that supports people for who they who are, no matter what their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Our NAB Pride employee resource group provides a fantastic support network for our employees who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or intersex (LGBTQIA+), and continues to raise awareness across the organisation. The feedback is that NAB Pride is a big part of the reason that more and more LGBTQIA+ employees are coming to work each day feeling comfortable in their own skin.

We also work with external partners like Pride in Diversity, the only not-for- profit workplace program in the country designed specifically for the LGBTQ community. Pride in Diversity run the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI), and this year, we were awarded a 'Silver Status'.

We love getting out and about in the community. While the list is always growing, some of the key event’s that we’re proud to be a part of include International Transgender Day of Visibility, International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, Wear It Purple Day, Pride Month Australia, World Aids Day. We’ve also been the proud principal partner of Midsumma Festival in Melbourne since 2013 and partnered with the AFL to create the NAB Challenge Pride match, which raised awareness and acceptance of LGBTQIA+ communities in sport.

Additionally, we partnered with Pride in Diversity, to host internal LGBTQIA+ Awareness Training Sessions across Australia to increase the awareness of workplace inclusion.

We want our LGBTQIA+ employees and customers to be proud of who they are, because we’re just as proud to stand alongside them.
