Culture at Partners in Performance

8.9
8.9 rating for Culture, based on 8 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
PIP culture is great, open, and transparent. It's been hard WFH but online events such as trivia still provide us with a sense of culture. There is alot of ability to work with senior PiPers and clients.

The nature of consulting means that the immediate team you work with varies between projects. The common theme across every team is there is no true hierarchy, the internal working environment is very collaborative with lots of problem-solving sessions involving everyone. Outside of work, there are great events that link people from different cities and parts of the organisation.

Overall, culture is pretty good - we have an amazing People and Culture team who have gone above and beyond to keep us sane during COVID lockdowns. Work-wise, being on engagements can be quite intense especially if there are a lot of demands from the client and senior leadership. Most engagement leads are really good at making sure we aren't overworked and we have time for meals, exercise, spending time with family and other important life things. Weekend work is very frowned upon and there are time in lieu policies if it does happen. Hierarchy - very flat. It's not uncommon to be working with someone 3-4 levels above you as a grad, so lots of opportunities to learn and connect with senior colleagues (not very common in most other corporate organisations). Contributions as a junior person are always valued and encouraged. Cooperation and teamwork - very collaborative, people always try and help out wherever they can. Socialising amongst colleagues - quite difficult during COVID but when we get together in person, its always really fun and you can meet everyone from all parts of the business. During COVID, we've had a lot of remote events (e.g. trivia, Brain Olympics, virtual drinks, etc) to keep everyone connected which is really good

Very flat structure overall, quite casual when not with clients, overall an enjoyable environment

A typically more inclusive culture than MBB from personal experience. Frequent social events (lockdown permitting). Distinct hierarchy on the job (work allocation wise), but directors and partners are typically very approachable and kind. Expected to work big hours often, lifestyle can be challenging particularly with travelling engagements.
