About PwC

PricewaterhouseCoopers is an international professional services brand of firms, operating as partnerships. PwC firms are in 157 countries, across 742 locations, with 284,000 people. The firm in its recent actual form was created in 1998 by a merger between two accounting firms: Coopers & Lybrand, and Price Waterhouse. Both firms had histories dating back to the 19th century. The trading name was shortened to PwC in September 2010 as part of a rebranding effort.

Your Role

As a Specialist, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Identify and make suggestions for efficiencies and improvements when performing work.
  • Use tools, techniques, and firm standard methodologies to support research, analysis, and problem-solving.

Through your involvement in different projects, you can hone your knowledge and skills, learn about new business practices and processes, and share your vision to improve team performance. You will start building your professional network right away by meeting market experts at lunchtime, participating in meetings, attending to clients, and preparing yourself for a great start after university.

The salary range for this position is $40,000 to $72,700, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.

PwC is committed to developing employees who meet the standards of the “PwC Professional”. By starting your career with PwC, you can expect a culture of learning in which teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded and diversity is valued and respected, with your personal development at the center of it. PwC combines a variety of innovative learning approaches with on-the-job coaching and career milestone development experiences to empower you to build a successful and rewarding career.

Work-Life Balance

At PwC work model includes three ways of working: virtual, in-person, and flex (a hybrid of in-person and virtual). For professionals who select a virtual role, they'll primarily work virtually, unless they have to be in the office or at a client site for key events. Employees work both in-person and virtually and will spend one to three days per week on average at a PwC office or a client site and work virtually the remainder of the time. Flex is encouraged for interns and new associates to take full advantage of the new joiner experience. Some PwC professionals, based on role or team, have a location requirement and are likely part of a local team that periodically works together in an assigned office or client site.

Culture & Vibe

PwC is made up of 55,000 people of different races, ethnicities, genders, backgrounds, religions, and beliefs. But together, all employees are in one firm united by purpose and values. PwC continues to build a culture of belonging, one that moves from awareness to empathy and demonstrates inclusive leadership. But as much as learned from progress, and knows that PwC is not yet where it wants to be. As a purpose-led and values-driven organization, PwC is using its talent and its resources to be a voice for change and knows that to be a leader, PwC must continue to do better. PwC will continue to be bold, intentional, and unwavering in its commitment to transparency and accountability.
