Your Role

As a Corporate Tax Intern or Trainee, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC professional responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in select phases of tax compliance engagements.
  • Research tax laws, rules/regulations and analyze their application to specific situations.
  • Demonstrate creative thinking and individual initiative while working as a team member.
  • Proactively seek guidance, clarification, and feedback.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks while exercising professional skepticism.
  • Support research, analysis, and problem-solving using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Keep up-to-date with technical developments in the area of specialism.
  • Handle, manipulate, and analyze data and information responsibly.

Work-Life Balance

At PwC work model includes three ways of working: virtual, in-person, and flex (a hybrid of in-person and virtual). For professionals who select a virtual role, they'll primarily work virtually, unless they have to be in the office or at a client site for key events. Employees work both in-person and virtually and will spend one to three days per week on average at a PwC office or a client site and work virtually the remainder of the time. Flex is encouraged for interns and new associates to take full advantage of the new joiner experience. About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a preferred cumulative and major GPA of 3.0
  • Possesses a desire to pursue a career in Tax.
  • Knowledgeable in researching and analyzing tax laws, rules and regulations, and pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrating self-motivation and desire to take responsibility for personal growth and career development.
