Application Process & Interviews at Raytheon Australia

8.5

Please describe the interview process and assessments.
The GradX interview process was actually enjoyable. I believe there was an early screening/questionnaire.

The hiring process was organised well. There was a solid session organised where there was a team exercise and also a private interview. Questions were technical in nature but didnt need a technical physical response. i think this was perfect as it allows a response to be tailored and involve technical conversations but did not allow one to have to complete an analysis or mathematical analysis on the fly. This reflects on the company well because they try to account for people who might not be good on the spot with mathematical analyses.

What questions were you asked in your interviews?
As an example a cultural question could have been 'explain a time when you had a disagreement with a colleague/fellow student and discuss how you moved passed the disagreement'. a technical question might have been tailored around my honours project/capstone project and how i used analytical thinking to solve a particular problem.

Questions were divided into two generalised topics; the first topic was cultural/team/personal responses and the second were technical questions.
