We recognise the dedication, sacrifice and commitment of all who have worn Australia's uniform, and this will always be a priority for us.

Our support for veterans and Australian Defence Force personnel extends to both current and former defence personnel, along with their families. We take pride in offering five days of paid veteran rehabilitation leave each year. This leave is provided to veterans for attending DVA appointments or engaging in rehabilitation related to injuries recognised by DVA stemming from their military service.

We offer up to ten working days of leave per year to employees who are members of the Australian Defence Force Reserves. This is to undergo training or equivalent duty, taking place during normal working hours.

Saab’s partnership with the SA Veteran Employer Network strives to improve employment outcomes for veterans and defence/veteran partners within South Australia. Saab was awarded Employer of the Year in the Prime Minister’s 2023 Veteran Employment Awards.
