Office & Workplace at Stantec Australia

7.9
7.9 rating for Workplace, based on 33 reviews
Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
Stantec is located in Perth CBD with easy access via public transport all over the city. It is surrounded by good number of coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance.

The best I would say. A gym would make it more better

It's decent.

Office location is very convenient. shaded parking, in the CDB.

The office spaces, locations and facilities are generally good (Kent St location was better than the Pacific Hwy location in terms of location and general facilities). Dress code is generally flexible but noting that a more professional dress code is preferred in the office for external meetings which is generally fine.

The Manila office is a bit old but decent enough. I don't mind because I work from home most days anyway. The facilities are also complete, I am fond of our coffee machines. There are some broken monitors in the office. People are usually in smart casual attire, nothing too formal, which is great. I asked about the dress code during my first day in the office and people said that they're not strict about it as long as you're comfortable and presentable.

The dress code is smart casual or formal wear.

Multiple offices around Sydney (St Leonards, Kent Street, Parramatta, join venture offices) suiting to different travel needs, for the most part we travel to where our team sits, but people do visit multiple offices too. Main office has 4 floors in St Leonards, newly renovated with sit stand desks fitted, kitchen and bathroom on each floor and large balcony on reception floor which becomes handy for all company-oriented events. Meeting rooms available. Kent Street office, single floor, sits around 70, meeting rooms available, open kitchen space, bathroom on floor shared. Parramatta office, new office moved in this year, sits 16, meeting rooms available, internal kitchen space, bathroom on floor shared. Casual Fridays, general business attire for other days but not strictly enforced.

The offices are spacious and not over-crowded. The dress code is far more relaxed than I imagined.

As the office is very close to my home, so it's easy for me to commute.

I like the dress code it is great that we are not under pressure to wear corporate clothing. We do not have assigned desks it would be good to have those.

Office is great, we don't have the linear battery hen style desks, we have L-shaped desks which gives space and a bit of privacy. Location is good. Facilities are fine. I don't even know how to find company wide dress codes, I looked at the Lens and the dress code for India and the US is available. Here in Australia there is an insert in a different document, we don't have a similar document, where it is vaguely referenced.

Open office plan, business casual dress code, good end of trip facilities, good kitchen, pool table & table soccer for friday afternoons. very central location - good for public transport, cycling into work, getting lunch, and visiting the gym after work.

Spacious, really nice view. A bit disappointed, as we don't have access to parking spots anymore.

The air conditioner is not working properly and the internet is unstable.

It is currently split into 3 different offices which isn't great but will combine soon. The layout if pretty isolating if you aren't near people whom you work with or enjoy talking to. Dress code is neat casual / business casual which is great

O_ce at St Leonards is modern and nice. Good location from the station but overall, the location is bad for many Sydneysiders who live far away. Fairly good facilities, there's good facilities and a nice co_ee machine. Addition of a pingpong table would be nice.

I like the o_ce space, it would be nice to be allocated a personal desk so that I could leave stu_ at my desk or in the draws but our team is quite large, and people work from home sometimes, so it evens out. We do have a shortage of stand-up desks in our area. Regarding the dress code, I am someone who takes pride in my appearance, and I believe that first impressions are lasting impressions. I choose to dress well and in a corporate manner, I find that there are certain individuals get away with wearing slightly inappropriate clothing or clothing that is more casual for the setting that we work in. I do not necessarily believe that jeans should be worn in the o_ce other than for a casual Friday. Along with wearing Birkenstocks into the o_ce, this should not necessarily be acceptable. While the Stantec polo is a nice shirt for guys, I find it quite unflattering for women particularly if you have a larger size or bigger bust. It would be nice to have more female tailored options for the ladies.

Everything is great. Dress code is fairly casual.

The Stantec offices are great and a supper convenient location to me. My secondment is quite a bit away, so to manage this I have a mix of work location throughout the week
