8.5 rating for Culture, based on 17 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Suncorp IT is an industry leading Agile organisation and the culture supports innovation and is very flexible with how work gets done. After hours the teams socialise and Suncorp hosts many industry events.
Relatively flat structure throughout the company's various businesses. Teamwork skills are highly valued while social events are encouraged.
The culture at Suncorp is amazing. Leaders are very understanding, working hours are flexible as long as you get your work done, working from home arrangements can be made and is encouraged, and socialising outside of work is majorly prevalent. Typically on Friday's our team will either go to lunch together or get drinks after work, which allows time for us to bond outside of the office environment.
Reasonable hours, however well over the 7.5hours per day. Flat structure - access to high level leaders Teamwork focus
Suncorp's culture is flexible and relaxed. The management structure is relatively flat, meaning access to upper management is relatively unrestricted. We are encouraged to build relationships within and between teams, as well as with managers and executives from other areas. Teamwork and collaboration is continually promoted.
Suncorp has an excellent company culture. I have found my colleagues to be friendly and willing to train me. We regularly socialise outside of work and participate in offsite team days and volunteer days. I'm based in our head office in Brisbane where we have a very relaxed culture. We don't have to wear suits and every Friday is casual Friday. As a national business our teams are often split across several states, despite this staff work together and cooperate regularly.
