Management at Suncorp Group
- Average rating for Management, based on 23 reviews8.1 / 10
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
Most managers, including executives, are open to career chats and mentoring. Internal communication is solid as well as feedback.
Entry level, Sydney
The Suncorp graduate program provides unbelievable exposure to higher management. I have two mentor-type relationships. Both are with higher management; one (team leader) acts as my mentor and the other (my executive general manager) I reverse mentor. Both are a great forum to bounce ideas off of and gain feedback from. Outside of mentorships, our CEO does regular web casts which I really enjoy. All higher management is very approachable.
Very accessible, not the greatest mentors. Feedback received didn't align with performance/promotion outcomes.
I've been lucky to have had fantastic managers who have invested their time in my personal development and training.
The managers I have worked with are very approachable, interested in my work and development. All take the time to explain the task, what it's to achieve in reference to the broader strategy and provides constructive feedback.
