Management at Telstra

8.6
8.6 rating for Management, based on 20 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
They are quite busy, but they can help you out when required. They don't provide much support to providing your right rotation for me mainly because there is nobody totally responsibility for grads.

Manager are definitely more leaders and incredibly supportive of the team

I am really disappointed with the management. They say that they are always there to support but it was not followed through. It came to a point where I had faced some discrimination from my manager and had to report (only for it to not work out)

I have had great managers so far who are easy to talk to and eager to make my experience great.
Graduate, Brisbane
My two people leaders have been fantastic, they both want to help me professionally in my career, but also are available to listen to personal matters if needed. They both have recognised myself and others when we do good work

The managers I have had involvement with have been very approachable and helpful.
Graduate, Brisbane
Managers are very open and accessible and genuinely care about employee's wellbeing. Performance reviews and feedback is often very casual but constructive, and they are quick to praise and give recognition.

Excellent managers
Graduate, Perth
Managers are very accessible and understanding that I am a grad, not putting too much pressure but also allowing me to evolve in my career
Graduate, Melbourne
My managers are really accessible, they always respond in a timely manner. They look out for my needs and provide me with lots of information. They are good mentors as well. We have an appreciate platform where we can recognise others for their great work and contributions.

Managers are fantastic, as are mentors. People are always willing to give their time to teach others, mentor others or provide feedback. The agile structure of the business splits leaders of people up from leaders of work. Meaning conversations relating to your job can be had with multiple people with equal say.
