Salary at ANZ

What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?

Definitely above the average and bonuses reflect performance.
Graduate, Melbourne
Both are quite generous, even as a graduate and entry-level.
Entry level, Melbourne
Performance rating/incentive system is arbitrary and based mostly on manager opinion. Pay rise was not sufficient above next year grad starting salary to reflect seniority
Graduate, Melbourne
In comparison to other grad programs ANZ is highly paid and bonuses are received based upon performance at the end of each rotation.
Graduate, Melbourne
Pay and remuneration at my company is very good. Pay is extremely competitive compared to other graduate programs. Generous bonuses are also paid out following each 6 month rotation.
Graduate, Melbourne
Bonuses are a thing which weren't expected and known at the time of applying. It's nice to be rewarded for hard work.
Graduate, Melbourne
Competitive pay compared to other graduate positions. Bonuses received based on performance.
Graduate, Hastings
Performance management is inconsistent across different managers and bonuses not clearly linked to quantity or quality of work.
Entry level, Auckland
Salary usually at market rate, have only just rolled off the grad program so bonus I have received may not be reflective of what I can get in my current role.
Graduate, Sydney
So far, i am very happy as i have received both a bonus and a pay rise since being here. The salary is competitive in the market and i believe even after i roll off the grad program i will still be receiving a competitive rate.
Graduate, Melbourne
Bonuses were unexpected which is nice. The pay is on par with what the other banks and corporations are offering from my experience with the exception of Management Consulting Firms which are significantly less
Graduate, Brisbane
Both are high. Process around bonuses can be interesting, but the pay is great.
Entry level, Auckland
Very happy to have such a strong salary first year out of university.
Graduate, Hobart
On the graduate programme the pay is reasonable for an entry level position and it is reviewed from time to time. The bonuses are quite low, but they are 6 monthly which an advantage is. It is difficult to know the criteria for receiving a bonus though

Being in marketing we get perks here and there - eg. Movie screenings, Christmas parties with the agencies. However, no unusual perks in terms of the overall organisation that I know of, but the staff discount on banking is quite good!
Entry level, Auckland
Staff are given considerable discounts on banking products eg annual fees waived for savings accounts / credit cards, lower interest rates on loans. From time to time, reduced cost tickets to events are also made available for purchase. Teams also have rewards and recognition budgets, so you may be awarded with free movie tickets/coffee vouchers depending on performance. If you are required to travel for work, taxis / flights are also paid for by the company.
