In my first week at Post, I was lucky enough to be part of the launch of our new recognition program Thank you. This allowed me to be directly involved in running activities throughout the week to support employee wellbeing.

The Australia Post Graduate Program attracted my interest due to its integrated and hands-on structure.  Graduates are provided with the opportunity to complete three rotations in teams of their choosing,  whilst taking part in targeted development opportunities as a cohort, aimed at enhancing our understanding of the organisation, its strategic direction and the various roles within it.

I am currently completing my first rotation in the Performance and Recognition Team.  This experience has been invaluable as it directly aligns with my interest in understanding what factors drive engagement and inspire employees to succeed in their careers. In my first week at Post, I was lucky enough to be part of the launch of our new recognition program Thank you.  This allowed me to be directly involved in running activities throughout the week to support employee wellbeing. Being involved in the roll-out of Thank you was a great introduction to the inclusive and supportive culture at Australia Post.  Coming in to the graduate program this year, I felt very well supported by my mentors, graduate program manager, and team manager. The senior leaders in the business are also extremely supportive of graduates and always make themselves available for coffee catch-ups. I am looking forward to starting my next rotation in safety and injury management where I will be drawing on my academic background in psychology to help keep all our employees mentally and physically safe at work.
