There are formal Competency Based Learning (CBL) assessments for control room work. These are very effective in providing information relevant to the job.
Great grad program for soft skill development and an opportunity to attend technical training.
Plenty of training opportunities.

As part of the grad program we are involved in formal training every 6 months. These formal modules cover soft skills such as time management, oral and written communication, presentation skills, tough conversations, managing upwards, etc.) Other formal training opportunities I've been involved in include market related overview courses and technical courses.
A lot of training for different aspects of the markets which AEMO operates - these can be for both internal and external stakeholders/employees. These have greatly assisted in my learning and development with regard to Australia's energy industry.
