Our Inclusion Vision
BOQ Group is committed to diversity and inclusion in order to provide a safe and inclusive environment that taps the collective genius of diverse talent to improve outcomes for our people, customers, communities and shareholders.
We are proud to be home to a wealth of diverse skills, experiences, perspectives and insights and know that what we can do together is infinite.
‘Inclusive’ means that our customers and communities are an integral part of our wider network, and that supporting, amplifying and collaborating with them is as important as how we accept, respect, support, show gratitude, amplify and collaborate with each other.

Our inclusion strategy is continually evolving towards harnessing broader intersectionality through inclusive behaviours that will foster a diverse workplace culture and enhance the employee experience.

Strong governance and executive sponsorship is key to our focus areas of our inclusion strategy. The Inclusion Governance Structure is supported by our inclusion council and affinity networks.

  • Inclusion Council: The role of the Inclusion Council is to govern implementation and provide oversight of BOQ’s Diversity and Inclusion Policy and Strategy.
  • Affinity Networks: We currently have several inclusion affinity networks in place and plan to build further working groups going forward. These affinity networks are designed to align the BOQ Inclusion approach to the needs of our people and their communities.
    • First Nations Reconciliation Council -  focused on developing and strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities, employees, and stakeholders, to support and embed cultural safety, reconciliation and truth telling at BOQ Group.
    • ProudlyMe - works to provide a voice to the LGBTQIA+ community here at BOQ Group
    • Early Career Network - provide opportunities to the BOQ Group's emerging talent, to grow one another's personal and professional networks.
