Salary at Lockheed Martin
- Average rating for Salary, based on 20 reviews7.5 / 10
What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Pay is evaluated yearly, but I havent been through a proper evaluation period yet so dont know if the amount goes up much.
On an industry wide scale for Software engineers, Lockheed is in the lower half which is hard to understand considering the extra burden of undergoing security clearance and also the size and revenue of the company.
Pay is good for a graduate wage. No bonuses yet.
Unsure what pay rise can be expected upon a promotion, however within a normal year, pay increase is between 0 - 5% pa. Pay for graduates is pretty decent - on par with DoD and other Defence Contractors. No bonuses available as far as I'm aware.
Would be a good incentive to boost work ethic and moral
Roughly around the average pay
What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
Great corporate healthcare and super plans, if you require work related expenses they can generally all be accommodated, a long list of possible perks for employees, but these might not be Australian, some are US perks.
Tickets to Air Show
Many clubs and out of hours activities available
the RDO program - can plan rostered days off in advance
Opportunity to travel (if on the right project)
