Please provide further information on diversity with respect to women, ethnic minorities and LGBT. Please comment on issues such as recruitment, retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc.
While my team is very supportive of my and my disability/chronic illness, in the recent round of Bargaining, proposals for additional Disability Leave and Gender Affirming Leave were rejected.

They do a good job at hiring from the LGBTQIA+ community and are a diverse employer but don't really promote these individuals.

The only reason I haven't given a 10 is because as an agency - we should be recruiting First Nations people in technical positions to ensure that the agency is sticking to it's quotas. In my brief experience - I have not seen this in my lines of business, but there are always far complicated reasons as to why this is the case.

We have many people of diverse cultural and neurodiverse backgrounds. Sometimes the retention is not great due to other agencies being more flexible and paying more.

They seem to be committed to these principles and relatively successful is implementing them.

I do not have much firsthand experience, but so far everyone has been respectful and inclusive.

I'm a white dude, it's actively against my interest for greater diversity aside from helping my friends because it reduces the societal advantage I have.

Internal social media is very inclusive and I see inclusive information/posters around the office. I haven't experienced or seen any targeted discrimination.

They promote diversity and have set targets for diversity. They host regular activities and/or days/events for recognition.

Seems quite committed to diversity and inclusion

I am not the person to comment on this, but I support and value a diverse workforce

Extremely impressed with diversity

So many diversity related events I can't list them all. Child care and maternity leave policies are generous.

Similar to the rest of the APS in regard to recruitment, retention and promotion, child care and maternity leave arrangements are also mostly aligned to the rest of the APS. Most of staff diversity resides in the APS 1 - 6 staff members who work in service delivery and do not make agency wide decisions and are paid significantly less than executives. Our executives are not a reflection of the rest of the staff nor the Australian public.

I would need to do further research to be able to offer relevant feedback in this regard.

They have a program called Aurora which aims to facilitate recruitment of neurodiverse individuals, and the Indigenous Apprenticeship Program. Frequently promote diversity/inclusion in the workplace, frequently engage other organisations promoting this as well, and are very open about their recruitment targets for e.g. Indigenous people, CALD, people with disability etc

I don't know the specifics of all that, but I have seen the LGBTIQA+ community in the workplace, and I've seen special days celebrated for the community, and lots of mental health and support resources - its a very progressive and welcoming workplace culture.

It is ok, but so much needs to be done.

Well developed as you'd expect of a democratic, first world nations' government who supports multiculturalism, equity, diversity, inclusion and meritocracy.
